This 4 car garage plans has been quite popular because of its carriage house styling and large loft space or optional apartment included in the plans. As a four car garage it does suffer a very slight diminishment of the right side bay because of the required stairway location to second story. The large scale of this garage offers great possibilities in its potential use as an apartment or living quarters above the garage or space for recreation or extra residential use space. It can also be used as home business, hobby or workshop space. With it pleasing architectural building form it can be finished in a craftsman style, as illustrated, but can also be easily treated with traditional, cape cod, victorian or contemporary detailing. The cross-gable form of this garage plan really does allow flexibility so you can adapt its style as you may require.
