Our contemporary, hipped roof, three car garage plan with high center bay has been popular since its introduction. The building form is designed to minimize blocking of sky view and light while maximizing garage interior space. The center bay is great for using automotive lift , jacking vehcles, using stacked car storage rack or for large trucks, RVs, boats, etc. With roof trusses and conventional light frame construction its is prescriptive IRC code compliant for braced wall construction (rare for a larger garage design) .
